Celebrating CPN Mall’s Anniversary

Central Pattana Plc (CPN) is commemorating the 5th anniversary of Central i-City, an all-encompassing lifestyle and entertainment hub nestled within a 6.5-billion-baht mixed-use development in the western region of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The focal point of this celebration is the debut of the “Sawasdee Thailand 2024 Festival,” graced by the presence of Thai Ambassador Lada Phumas. This festival guarantees an immersive journey into Thai culture and traditions.

At the heart of the festival lies a grand display of Thai products, with over 11,000 items directly imported from CentralWorld. Visitors can immerse themselves in iconic attractions such as the Joe Louis Puppet Show, Amazing Thai Taste & Shopping Delight, ‘Songkran’ Cultural Family Destination, and an in-mall Muay Thai championship.

This four-day spectacle has been orchestrated through a collaborative effort between Central Pattana, the Royal Thai Embassy, the Department of International Trade Promotion, and the Tourism Authority of Thailand. Together, they aim to showcase the finest facets of Thai heritage and entertainment.

Wallaya Chirathivat, the President and CEO of Central Pattana, highlights the significance of Central i-City as their inaugural shopping center abroad, affirming their stature as Thailand’s premier real estate developer making strides on regional and global fronts.

Acknowledging the continuous patronage of business partners and customers towards Central i-City, Wallaya expresses commitment to enhancing Thai-Malaysian relations and spurring regional growth in Southeast Asia collaboratively.

Wuttikiat Techamongklapiwat, the Head of Property Management and International Business at Central Pattana, emphasizes their dedication to sustained economic growth and their role in propelling progress in Shah Alam, Klang, and the broader Kuala Lumpur community.

By channeling increased investments and resources from Central Pattana into Central i-City, Wuttikiat envisions a stronger bond between Thailand and Malaysia, fostering mutual growth and development.

Through innovative retail concepts and strategic partnerships, Central i-City has witnessed a remarkable uptick in footfall and tenant sales, reinforcing its status as a key shopping destination in western Kuala Lumpur.

In tandem with the festival celebrations, Central Pattana has organized the “Imagining Success Together” Tenant and Business Partner Forum. This gathering not only marks the fifth anniversary of Central i-City but also serves as a platform to share insights into the company’s global business strategies for the future.
