In an effort to reinforce its presence in Thailand and Vietnam, Centara Hotels & Resorts has incorporated five properties into its diverse portfolio.
Michael Henssler, the chief operating officer at Centara, expressed enthusiasm about the company’s dynamic start in 2024.
“While we continue to expand in Thailand, Vietnam, and beyond, we are looking forward to the future and the ample opportunities that await our brands,” he stated.
Centara recently inked a strategic hotel management agreement (HMA) with Phi Phi Paradise Co for their Villa 360 property. The resort is expected to reopen as Centara Villas Phi Phi Island in October 2024, featuring 40 villas spanning from 56 to 133.5 square metres and offering a comprehensive range of facilities.
Henssler also announced that Centara finalized an HMA at the conclusion of 2023 with Kornsiri Hospitality Management for Tiva Ao Makham Resort Phuket, a greenfield project aimed at redefining health-focused travel with exceptional facilities. The resort, which will comprise 68 rooms along Phuket’s southeastern coast, is slated to become Centara’s 11th hotel in Phuket and the latest addition to its boutique collection.
Centara is set to open Centara Life Vung Tau, situated along the southern coast of Vung Tau City, Vietnam, in the first quarter of 2027. Additionally, the company will unveil another property, Centara Residence Dio Dua, offering 536 rooms. Of note, Crystal Holidays Harbor Van Don will open a second tower in the second quarter of 2025 as part of its plan to develop five hotel and resort apartment buildings within its five-star international standard resort and entertainment complex, adding to the allure of Van Don as a prominent tourist destination in northern Vietnam.
Andrew Langston, the senior vice president for business development at Centara, expressed pride in welcoming these remarkable properties into their portfolio as the company embarks on an exciting phase of expansion.
