Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter reveals his face and announces a solo album.

Thomas Bangalter of Daft Punk made a solo album announcement and sort of revealed his face.

The French electronic duo, which disbanded in 2021, always performed while dressed in space-themed helmets. Rarely were the two captured in photographs without them.

The record by Bangalter, titled “Mythologies,” will feature an orchestra. A realistic profile illustration with the phrase “Portrait of Thomas Bangalter for his upcoming disque Mythologies” is what he posted on Instagram accompanying the news.

Le Catch, Thalestris, Les Gémeaux I, Les Amazones, and L’Arrivée d’Alexandre are only a few of the album’s song titles. For a ballet titled “Mythologies,” choreographer Angelin Preljocaj first commissioned the new music.

The CD will be made available on April 7.

At the 2014 Grammy Awards, Daft Punk had a performance and won album of the year for their album “Random Access Memories.”
