Tomorrowland's debut edition in Thailand has officially sold out, with organisers confirming that all 150,000 tickets for the festival were snapped up within hours of going on sale. The three-day electronic dance music festival will take place from 11 to 13 December 2026 at Wisdom Valley, a roughly 237-acre venue in Chonburi's Bang Lamung district, about 100 kilometres from Bangkok.
A Sellout Debut for Southeast Asia
Demand was strong across every ticket phase, including an exclusive early-access sale, an NFT-linked release and a hotel package launched in late February, before the worldwide sale opened on 7 March and sold out within minutes. Organisers said the event will welcome around 50,000 attendees per day, with roughly 85% of ticket holders coming from overseas, including short-haul markets such as China, Singapore and South Korea, as well as long-haul travellers from Europe and Latin America. The festival will feature six stages, including Tomorrowland's signature Mainstage and its CORE and FREEDOM stages, both making their first appearance in Asia.
Billions in Economic Impact
Thai authorities project the festival will generate about 5.5 billion baht, or roughly $177 million, in economic activity during its first year, with a five-year agreement expected to bring in around 30 billion baht between 2026 and 2030, according to the Tourism Authority of Thailand. Organisers also expect the event to create close to 1,900 jobs, including opportunities tied to Tomorrowland's DJ Academy and Festival Academy programmes, which aim to transfer production and event-management skills to the local workforce.
