Move Forward will work with Pheu Thai and four other parties in partnership.

The coalition will receive 309 seats from the alliance, which also comprises the Thai Liberal, Fair, Thai Sang Thai, and Prachachart parties. However, 309 seats will still fall short of the 376 required to guarantee Move Forward leader Pita Limjaroenrat receives the presidency.

Pita, however, asserted that the five parties are prepared to discuss specifics, such as personnel, guidelines, and a working schedule. He further stated that in order to ensure transparency, his party would create a memorandum of understanding with the five parties.

According to him, a majority government can be formed with a coalition of six political groups.

Pita added that the Move Forward executive committee will get together on Monday in the afternoon to develop a plan for addressing both old and new issues, like growing the economy and decreasing inequality.

The Move Forward leader continued by saying he would visit various parts of the nation to express his gratitude to voters. He would also address Bangkok residents in a rally at the Democracy Monument.

In order to ensure that people begin receiving benefits immediately away, he said he would form a government as quickly as possible, even if that required him to oversee many ministries for a while. When asked if Move Forward had given the Bhumjaithai Party a thought, he replied that he must uphold the commitment made by his party to only join coalitions with opposition parties.

Bhumjaithai was a member of the previous coalition.

The lese majeste statute will simply be “amended” to guarantee that no one is harmed, he added, adding that he will bring up this matter in Parliament.

A large number of pro-democracy protestors are incarcerated on lese-majeste charges.

Politics inevitably involves disagreement, according to Pita, and democracy is the greatest way to resolve it. But he also cautioned that solving this problem might require some time and persistence.

Despite winning 151 seats, Move Forward will need to build a government coalition with other parties.
