The airline group Lufthansa has announced some significant managerial changes, with Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) Stefan Kreuzpaintner taking on responsibility for network, alliance, and partner management.
Heiko Reitz, who had already been in charge of several high-profile projects within the German airline, including the creation of strategic joint ventures with partners like rail operator Deutsche Bahn, and product harmonisation across the various airlines of the group, was chosen by Lufthansa to fill the position of CCO.
In her role as CCO, Kreuzpaintner oversaw the further development of Lufthansa’s premium brand in the aviation industry, as well as the creation of the new Allegris cabin product, which the German airline is about to begin introducing to its long-haul fleet in 2023.
While running the airline during that difficult time, he also had to deal with the COVID-19 crisis’ effects. In his new role, Kreuzpaintner is anticipated to continue promoting increased brand alignment within the Lufthansa Group as well as with its external partners.
