TAT forecasts 25 million tourists in 2023

TAT aims for 25 million foreign visitors to Thailand in 2023, bringing in 2.38 trillion baht in revenue.

As of today (12 January), Mr. Yuthasak Supasorn, Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), has set a target for the tourism sector’s estimated total revenue to increase by 80% by 2023.

The maximum is 2.38 trillion baht from a total of 25 million foreign visitors, and the Thai tourism year 2023 will guarantee that tourism will play a part in fostering long-term economic stability for the nation and the Thai people.

TAT has marketed “Thailand Tourism Year 2023” for the local market and “Visit Thailand Year 2023: Amazing New Chapters” for the international market in an effort to establish a balance between society and the environment for a sustainable tourism sector in the future.

Every day starting in 2022 This will serve as a key motivating factor in ensuring that Thai tourism recovers in a way that meets the aim in terms of revenue and qualitative improvements.
