Wyndham signs two hotels Bangkok

Wyndham and Fulcrum Ventures Asia have agreed to two license agreements for two hotels in Bangkok, Thailand.

The 183-room Ramada by Wyndham Bangkok Sukhumvit 11 and the 91-room Ramada by Wyndham Bangkok Ten Ekamai Residences, which are anticipated to undergo formal rebranding in June 2023, will be the 21st and 22nd hotels respectively for Wyndham in Thailand and inside the city of Bangkok.

“We are thrilled to partner with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts on what we believe to be the beginning of a strong partnership between our two companies,” said Deepak Mishra, founder and board member of Fulcrum Ventures Asia. We can use Wyndham’s commercial and operational skills as the top hospitality franchisor in the world to provide exceptional outstanding experiences to our valued business and leisure guests since we are a real estate development company with a focus on hospitality.

The Grand Swiss Sukhumvit 11 Hotel Bangkok, formerly known as the 18-story Ramada by Wyndham Bangkok Sukhumvit 11, is situated on Sukhumvit Soi 11 near the Nana BTS station and a short distance from the area’s well-known nightlife spots and shopping hotspots like Terminal 21.

A fitness center, an outdoor pool, all-day dining, and a specialized restaurant with a wide selection of contemporary cuisine are available as amenities.

Similar to Wyndham Bangkok Sukhumvit 11, the 8-story Ramada by Wyndham Bangkok Ten Ekamai Residences is situated in the residential neighborhood of Ekamai Soi 10 and is just a short walk from the Ekamai BTS station. Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK) is also just a short 45-minute drive from the property.

A rooftop garden and an outdoor lap pool are available amenities.

Joon Aun Ooi, President, Asia Pacific, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, said, “We are encouraged by the strong demand for Wyndham Hotels & Resorts’ brands in Thailand. “With our varied and expanding portfolio of brands, we are well-positioned to meet guest needs as travel for business and pleasure becomes more common this year. We are excited to expand our cooperation with Fulcrum Ventures Asia and share with them our “OwnerFirst” franchising philosophy while still providing our guests with the best “Count on Me” service in the business.

The Thailand Tourism Authority (TAT) has predicted that the nation will get more than 30 million foreign visitors this year.
