Cat survives after falling 6 stories

Despite leaving a sizable hole in a car windscreen, a tomcat in Bangkok, Thailand, managed to avoid serious injuries after falling six stories.

On Facebook, the owner of the vehicle, who goes by the name Apiwat Toyothaka, stated on Saturday that he was alerted of the event by the administration of his condominium at 7am.

The digital artist, who also has a cat, said he restrained his rage when he saw the scared animal hiding beneath his car after leaping out of the large gap in his busted windscreen.

The Nation claims that Master Shifu from the Kung Fu Panda movies inspired the cat’s moniker, Shifu.

The 8.5 kg cat is momentarily visible on the sixth-floor balcony’s closed-circuit video before plunging over. Before smashing onto Mr. Apiwat’s car’s back window, it briefly strikes the third-floor balcony.

Shifu only lost two claws, according to Mr. Apiwat, and X-rays showed no broken bones. On Monday, he added that Shifu was eating and urinating normally after the incident. Additionally, he was able to make an insurance claim for car damage.

According to Mr. Thanakorn Jongjaemfah, the condo’s manager, the incident demonstrates why residents are prohibited from keeping pets, according to The Nation. The condo is located on Soi Sathupradit 49.

The owner of Shifu was fined 1,000 Baht, and she has vowed to relocate her cat to a relative’s house, the speaker continued.Cats have been known to survive falls from significant heights.
