According to BMTA director Kittikan Chomdoung Charuworapolkul, the action is in keeping with the Culture Ministry’s remembrance of the Chakri dynasty’s royal grace and to honor the 241st anniversary of Rattanakosin’s founding in 1782.
The purpose of the free bus journeys, according to him, is to inspire individuals to uphold Buddhism and appreciate Thai architecture.
He said that the BMTA had scheduled five buses for the outings.
Every 20 minutes, he claimed, the buses would run from 9 am to 6 pm. At the National Museum and the 11 temples, people can wait for the buses.
