On Thursday, February 8, on Lufthansa’s flight LH773 between Bangkok, Thailand, and Munich, Germany, a 63-year-old German man passed away under mysterious circumstances, as reported by the newspaper Blick.
Two passengers seated in the back row shared that the man, accompanied by a Filipino woman, appeared to be unwell even before the flight took off. The captain was informed and called for medical assistance over the loudspeaker. Despite efforts to assist him, including offering chamomile tea, the man’s condition worsened, prompting the pilots to request an emergency landing back in Bangkok.
Tragically, despite resuscitation attempts, the man did not survive. The flight subsequently returned to Suvarnabhumi International Airport. Passengers were rebooked for a later journey, and the wife of the deceased passenger had to go through customs alone, with witnesses expressing concern for her well-being.
Lufthansa confirmed the death but did not provide further details regarding the incident.
