The renowned young entrepreneur, who garnered attention for supposedly buying durians exceeding 600,000 baht, has stepped up on Channel 7HD to proclaim his innocence and clarify that he did not make any such purchases.
In another incident, a durian vendor at Thung Yai market in Pathum Thani raised a grievance via the media after facing unfounded accusations from the aforementioned entrepreneur amounting to nearly half a million baht in early April.
Subsequently, the accused individual reached out to Channel 7HD news team and provided substantial evidence, including transfer receipts and financial documents, to debunk the allegations. They affirmed to the news team that they did not owe the vendor 650,000 baht as claimed and meticulously recorded all financial dealings from April to June 2022, including transfer receipts for transparency.
Following these allegations, all transfer receipts were sent to an accounting office for scrutiny, uncovering a total transaction sum of 2,340,567 baht, with 2,371,032 baht indeed being transferred to the vendor, resulting in an overpayment of more than 30,000 baht.
When contacted by the news team, the accuser simply stated disbelief in the explanations provided, persisting that the accused party was still indebted to them for 650,000 baht. The accuser also alleged that the submitted receipts were doctored and demanded the accused individual visit the shop personally to resolve the matter.
In uplifting news for durian cultivators, the Prime Minister disclosed an enterprise expressing interest in procuring frozen durians worth 10 million US dollars annually, approximately 300 million baht. The Ministry of Commerce has been assigned to manage quotas for export purposes.
