EXCITING DAY 1 WITH GUERRIER, HOJGAARD AND PAVON TIED AT THE TOP IN DUBAI

DP World Tour Bangkok One

Hojgaard produced a barrage of back nine birdies with 5 in 6 holes to catapult himself alongside French duo of Guerrier and Pavon.

Notably Tommy Fleetwood who has his junior academy at the host course, Jumeirah Estates is two back after -3 (69), certainly one to watch this week, sitting alongside Viktor Hovland. Rory Mcilroy had an up and down day and recovered to scramble par on the last two holes to remain in red figures with a 71.

Spain’s Jon Rahm finished one back from Mcilroy after struggling to an even par 72.
