Young golfer Suvichaya Vinijchaitham has earned a spot in the Honda LPGA Thailand 2024 tournament after winning the national qualifiers. The 17-year-old emerged victorious at the two-day event held at Siam Country Club Rolling Hills in Pattaya. Suvichaya, hailing from Khon Kaen, performed impressively, finishing with a score of nine-under-par to secure the championship.
Alisa Inprasit came in second place with a score of eight-under-par. Suvichaya expressed her joy and pride at seeing her dreams come true and thanked Honda LPGA Thailand for providing a platform for Thai golfers to compete at such a high level. The National Qualifiers are part of the ‘Road to Honda LPGA Thailand’ initiative, which aims to foster the growth of golf among young and emerging players.
The Honda LPGA Thailand 2024 tournament featuring Suvichaya and 72 other top women golfers will take place at Siam Country Club Old Course in Pattaya from February 22 to February 25.
