SAS LAUNCHES NEW BANGKOK ROUTE

In order to meet the rising demand for leisure travel, SAS will soon operate a new route to Bangkok, Thailand. SAS is committed to improving its offerings. Travelers will be able to take advantage of easy overnight flights in both directions on the Airbus A350 after this route expansion, which will allow them to fly directly to Bangkok three times each week.

The 30th of October 2023 is set aside for the first voyage from Copenhagen.

“Friendship and cooperation between Thailand and the Scandinavian nations go back many years, so coming back after nine years by a direct route is a real delight. Both business and leisure tourists will love the Bangkok route because it provides an excellent entrance point for exploring more of Thailand.

The country has led various lists of the most popular tourist destinations in the world because to its stunning beaches, lush jungles, and exceptional Thai cuisine. Bangkok is a thriving hub for international business. Whatever the motivation for a trip, we are thrilled to once again provide a direct link between Scandinavia and the Land of Smiles, says Anko van der Werff, President & CEO of SAS.

Thailand is renowned for its vibrant culture and history in addition to its many options for outdoor activities including trekking, swimming, and sunbathing. In Bangkok and the rest of the country, there are a lot of temples, palaces, and other historical sites.

SAS will continue to offer three times weekly services to Shanghai (PVG) and Tokyo Haneda (HND) as part of the Winter 2023/2024 timetable.
